Timekeeping is an audio-visual installation is storytelling with movement and performance at the heart of it.
The audience can choose between experiencing the artwork with sight or sound; either watching the performer playfully animate characters on a life size screen from the edge of the space, or move beyond the screen to enter the multi channel audio system environment that will immerse the listener in moving sound, encouraging the movement of the listeners imagination and body in space.
The synced performance and soundscape becomes a vessel between the past and present inhabitants of the great hall, whose rich history of dwellers and dramatic, transformative events are just waiting to be re-animated through the eyes and ears of a new generation.
